@TheRReport1 October Producer of the Month: @iam_30Roc

Samuel “30 Roc” Gloade is a producer and industry tastemaker originally born in Bronx, New York. Besides working behind the boards of mainstream artists, he enjoys honing new talent and preparing them for commercial success.

Coming from a family of musicians, his father and cousin inspired his passion for snares, bass, and 808’s. Picking up a drum and joining his high school’s marching band led to 30 Roc’s early turnover in music production. He hopped onto scene connecting with rising talent on social media who were, like himself, looking to break into the music industry.

30 Roc took the extra mile to play an active role in the Atlanta independent music culture by serving as a guest judge for open-mic showcases including Hot 107.9 Durtty Boyz’ Battle Ground Monday. He audited new industry talent and gave away free beats and studio time to competition winners.

While most of his production has a heavy bass and percussion, 30 Roc is looking to break a pop artist in the near future. He has experience with other sounds such as R&B and Reggae.

Success: In February 2015, 30 Roc officially signed under Mike Will Made It’s Ear Drummer Records music label. His most successful single to date with the label is “Work Ya Muscle” by Earz which was featured on the VMAs in an Apple Music commercial with The Weeknd and in the motion picture Creed.

Before signing with EDR, his success as a solo producer rose after Bandit Gang Marco’s club anthem “Nasty” in 2014. The single took off from the underground scale to radio numbers. Both T-Wayne and Trey Songz have done remixes to the single. T-Wayne’s “Nasty “ freestyle went platinum and peaked at #9 on Billboard Top 100’s for 4 consecutive weeks in May, 2015.

At the turn of 2016, 30 has landed a placement on the Migos “YRN 2” mixtape for their single “Muhfuckin Tired,” Skippa Da Flippa’s “The Truth,” Lucci’s “Up on It,”. 30 landed placement on Jeezy’s Trap or Die 3 album with the single “Recipe” produced along with Mike Will. Continuing to be a great year for 30 he recently produced BoB’s latest track 4 lit which features T.I., and Ty Dolla Sign. 30 also has new music underway with TK N Cash.
