Rick Ross Announces "Port of Miami 2" Album Release Date

After years of planning, Rick Ross is finally ready to unveil his debut album sequel, Port Of Miami 2.
“Did you wanna live or was you born to kill,” Rozay asks during the solemn album trailer released on Tuesday (July 18).
To seal the full circle, for the cover art, Rozay poses with a photo of his late manager Big Bo, who passed away in December 2017 from undisclosed causes.

Port Of Miami 2 will be released on August 9. Check out the cover art and first single “Act A Fool” below and the album trailer up above.
[This post has been updated. The following was originally published on June 20, 2019.]
Rick Ross had quite a health scare last year when he was rushed to a Florida hospital with an unknown — but reportedly serious — health condition. But, he quickly got to back to studio mode following his release. Now, Rozay is back with the first official single from the long-awaited Port Of Miami 2 project.
Titled “Act A Fool,” the track features Wale and ample amounts of Rozay’s bravado. Mr. Rich Forever announced the single would arrive at midnight EST on Thursday (June 20). via Instagram.
The text read: “God is the Greatest. Port Of Miami started me on this journey. It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my day ones to the new ones this album is for you. Tenth studio album. Get ready. Ride with me. It’s time. Port of Miami 2 on the way.”

Port Of Miami 2 follows the 2006 original, Ross’ debut album. Of course, he’s dropped several albums in between, including 2015’s Black Market and 2017’s Rather You Than Me
Most recently, Ross popped up on Drake’s new “Money In The Grave” single, which was released on June 16.

Key Glock Smashes Young Dolph Windshields with Baseball Bat

Key Glock took a baseball bat to the windshields of at least two of Young Dolph’s luxury cars over the weekend — all with a smile plastered across his face and a blunt in his hand.
Glock documented the event on Instagram for his 1.2 million followers with three videos that show him smashing Dolph’s Mercedes G-Wagon and a custom camouflage Rolls Royce with a metal bat.
He captioned the first clip with, “@youngdolph look what you made me do.”

Glock added, “FUCK IT” and “Thought it was done huh?!” in the next two captions.

It’s highly unlikely this is anything but a publicity stunt or simply something wealthy people do for entertainment. Glock is signed to Dolph’s Paper Route Empire imprint and recently collaborated with him on Project Pat’s “CheezNDope” single. Nonetheless, the damage is done.
Dolph issued a short response to Glock via Instagram on Saturday (July 13).
“@keyglock fuk u,” he wrote.

The Paper Route Empire label head also insinuated there’d likely be some kind of retaliation with one of his Instagram Stories.

Dreamville Records "Revenge of the Dreamers 3" Debuts at #1 on the Billboard Top 200

Cole and his small army of collaborators have made Revenge Of The Dreamers III a bona fide success. With 115,412 total album equivalent units, 23,284 pure album sales and a streaming account of 120,792,837, the project has earned the coveted Billboard position.
J.I.D, EARTHGANG, Buddy and Vince Staples are just a few of the artists who contributed to the massive compilation album.
Revenge Of The Dreamers II, which arrived in 2015, peaked at No. 24. The latest installment in the series’ No. 1 debut is a testament to not only Cole’s growth as an artist but the label’s as well.

She embarked on her musical journey when she was featured on Big LAC’s album Mr. Universe. She had an outstanding love for music ever since she was young and was singing at 2-years-old before she could fully talk. She grew up in the County Line Baptist Church and was in the choir ever since being in her mother’s womb. Singing in the church choir is where she discovered her own God-gifted talent. Courtney’s family had different tastes in music, her mom’s being R&B and Soul, her dad’s was Rock and Country music, and her sister loved Hip-Hop and Rap, which all heavily influenced her own taste of music that ranges from the 60’s to the present day. As she got older, Courtney grew a love for many genres, her most favorites being R&B/Soul and Hip-Hop/Rap. Courtney today is signed to the label and Outcide Entertainment, where the genre of her music is R&B and Soul. Her musical influences are Angela Winbush, the talented Alicia Keys, the creative Jhene Aiko, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, and SZA, and many more. Courtney Alexis remains a role model to many younger people back in her hometown. Her message to the world is to be true to self, not follow trends, work hard, and good things will follow behind.

@TheRReport1 July's DJ of the Month: @SwampIzzo

Even as a youngster, South Carolinian native DJ Swamp Izzo understood that consistency would be the key to becoming one of the biggest names in urban music. Now, in 2016, DJ Swamp Izzo has witnessed those dreams come full circle. He is one of the most influential DJs in the game, with affiliations to hip hop heavyweights like Birdman, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. With prestigious honors from MTV, world tours, and spinning for President Obama on his growing list of accomplishments, Swamp Izzo is a man on a mission. From dominating the club scene to helping break some of rap’s most sought after independent artists, like Young Thug, Young Scooter, Future, Waka Flocka, and Gucci Mane, it is easy to see why the streets salute DJ Swamp Izzo.
When Swamp Izzo left South Carolina to make Atlanta his new home, he hit the ground running, adapting to change while making powerful connections along the way. Not long thereafter, Swamp Izzo landed a gig spinning four nights a week at T.I.’s Club Crucial on the west side of Atlanta, which allowed him to meet many movers and shakers on the city’s burgeoning music scene. However, it wasn’t until touring with D4L in 2006 that Swamp Izzo clarified his focus, mashed the gas, and made the decision to pursue music full-time. Swamp began a relentless campaign to expand his influence and visibility by dominating the club and mixtape scenes.
Aside from D4L, Swamp Izzo has toured with several musical heavy hitters, including Lil Wayne, Drake, Gucci Mane, Ludacris, Cassidy, Keith Sweat, and Nick Cannon. In 2006, Swamp Izzo served as the official DJ of the DUB Car Show. Since then, he has been booked to spin at private parties for industry elite, including 50 Cent and Sean “Diddy” Combs. In 2008, Swamp Izzo embarked on a fourteen-city tour of the Middle East and southwest Asia, including stops in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he earned the honor of spinning for deployed US troops and being the only professional spin-master to perform for President Barack Obama. However, the accolades don’t stop there: Swamp Izzo boasts several classic mixtapes in his catalog, including efforts from Young Scooter, Young Thug, and Soulja Boy’s “Juice”, which garnered him Top Mixtapes of 2011 honors from MTV.
Currently, Swamp Izzo is the official DJ for Birdman’s Rich Gang as well as Cash Money, where he works and tours alongside Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj, who have collectively sold over 500 million albums. You can also find Swamp spinning four nights a week at Atlanta’s #1 strip club, The Blue Flame Lounge. In 2015, Swamp began this on air radio takeover, appearing regularly on Sirius XM Hip Hip Nation’s Hoodrich Radio, Atlanta’s V103 FM, and DTLR Radio.
Despite his no-nonsense demeanor, Swamp Izzo’s hosting thrives off of his high energy and genuine love for great music. He recently has expanded his empire by opening MoJo’s Restaurant and Lounge on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr in the heart of Atlanta, and a hair salon, Lavish Crooks Hair Studio. Additionally, DJ Swamp Izzo still manages to find time to give back with the efforts of the Swamp Izzo Foundation, which regularly arranges visits with youth and feeding the homeless.
“I come from a place where there are not many positive outlets for kids growing up,” says Swamp, reflecting on his adolescence. “My goal is to put myself in a position where I am able to help those who are in similar situations coming up after me.”
Swamp Izzo’s hunger to continuously improve himself and his craft are the antidote for any form of complacency, and with goals still left to be realized, his work is far from finished. With faith, integrity, hard work, and consistency, Swamp Izzo continues to embody achievement, delivering good music to the masses while encouraging positive action.
